Wet Wales!

27th August:  In fairness, the weather was lovely the day we arrived in Wales.  We stayed at a pop up farm campsite just outside of Llandudno and cycled into the town in the afternoon.  It was great to be able to cycle along the front where yet again I was stopped to ask about my trike. We wanted to go up the Great Orme, but the wind was picking up and the cable was closed, so we made do with cycling partway up the Orme.

The campsite was great, it had a bar, pizza, hot breakfasts oh and emus!  I thought I might have had a  bit too much to drink, but no, it was definately emus.  The next day we cycled into Conwy.  It was a slight drizzle when we set out. "We'll be fine" we said. We weren't, we looked like a pair of quite miserable drowned rats by the time we got to the harbour area.  A lengthy stay in a cafe with hot drinks and carrot cake and we dried out a bit, ready to get soaking wet again cycling back to the campsite!  We were hoping for better weather at our next destination, Grange-over-Sands.
