Blenheim Palace

We left our campsite early and headed off to Blenheim Palace. We've been many times before for concerts in the courtyard and illuminated trails in the winter. This time we were going to look round the house and explore the gardens on a beautiful summers day.

There was an exhibition about the life of Winston Churchill and a lovely bronze statue of him painting in the grounds. Also the summer house where he proposed to his wife.  Altogether a lovely day out and I'd recommend visiting.  BTW, we had a special offer on our tickets with TravelZoo which included lunch.
